sweater (non-maternity) | hat | white denim (maternity) | shoes
I just wanted to quick share this outfit because it’s one of my faves for fall and just so easy! Throw that “you can’t wear white after Labor Day” notion right out the window – it’s an outdated rule and white denim looks great paired with fall neutrals! Read more

Comfort is key for me these days, so when I was trying to brainstorm something to wear for my daughter’s first birthday I thought – definitely a dress. Pants and leggings are getting uncomfortable and I knew I’d be grazing on snacks and birthday cake during the party, so I wanted to make sure what I wore was not too tight! Read more

It’s officially October, which means it’s my birthday month… and also my daughter’s birthday month, which has pretty much taken over for mine since the day she was born! I’m also quickly approaching my due date, which may mean another October baby… so we have LOTS to celebrate this month!
This non-maternity sweater is so nice, I didn’t only buy it twice… I bought it THREE times! In gold, oatmeal, and dark green! It was nice to find a sweater to fit my bump that I can also wear post-baby. I usually wear a small or medium in Old Navy tops, and I bought this one in medium in the gold and oatmeal and small in the green… and they all fit well. The two mediums will likely (ahem… hopefully) be a bit oversized after I have the baby, so if you’re looking for a more fitted sweater I’d definitely suggest sizing down! If you want it a little loose fitting, I’d say get your normal size. These leggings are my fave. Old Navy has (in my opinion) the best leggings. When I’m not pregnant I rock these high-waist compression leggings, and these are the maternity version. They’ve been a staple this pregnancy!
This weekend we are celebrating little miss Elle’s second birthday with friends and family, and I can’t wait to show you what I have up my sleeve for decor! Check out her first birthday party from last year here! Thanks for reading! XO – S

I haven’t made one of these for a while so I figured it was about time! Especially since my Amazon wish list is getting out of control… I thought I’d share some of my current faves with you all! Read more

Throughout this pregnancy, PinkBlush has really been there for me when it comes to fashion. They have a great mix of formal and informal maternity and non-maternity clothing – all so affordable and adorable! So since I’m quickly running out of clothes that fit, it’s nice to have an option that won’t break the bank – but still keep me stylish! Read more
dress (currently on sale!) | hat (mini BABE version here!) | shoes (not pictured)
Summer is definitely still here in Iowa, so I’m not ready to let go of these summer dresses just yet. This dress has been nice to throw on to go out to lunch with my hubby or even just to lounge around in. And it’s currently 40% off making it only $15! I bought this hat earlier this summer and it’s one I wear pretty much every day. I love a good hat for running errands or going on walks. This one also comes in a mini “BABE” version that I juuuust might have to snag for my littles! Read more
See above picture if you need a good laugh! I got this recipe for Jumbo Pumpkin Cookies from my Mother-in-Law almost ten years ago, and I have never attempted to make them before. The ugly truth: I am AWFUL at baking. Not only am I awful at baking, I’m also really bad at reading a recipe. Even though I’m aware of that, somehow I still manage to mess it up. I have pretty much come to terms with the fact that I’m not a good baker, but I’m still going to try! This time – and every time – I thought maybe I’d get it right. I’m a mom now, I must be a little domesticated, right?? WRONG. And while the cookies taste good, they are uh-gly. BUT THAT’S OKAY. It’s not like I’m catering an event! Read more
