Nordstrom Anniversary Sale | Booties

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale | Booties

Hey y’all! It’s NSale time! For those of you new to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, this is an annual sale that includes NEW items for summer and fall, along with home and beauty, at super awesome prices. I was not up in the wee hours of the night prepping like others when this sale started because I have a baby and sleep is very valuable to me right now, but I was able to compile a few hot items this morning during her nap! Also, as a Nordstrom employee, I’m not able to shop the sale until next Friday so that customers can get first dibs, but that’s not going to stop me from finding some of my faves to share with you all! Just try to save some for me!

Here are the dates to know for this sale:

Early Access starts TODAY for Nordstrom cardholders and runs till July 19th.

Public Event starts Friday, July 20th and goes until Sunday, August 5th.

You can hop on to Nordstrom.com and get a sneak peek of the sale, but unless your a cardholder you have to wait until next Friday – but it’s always good to be prepared! If something sells out be sure to check back – they’re almost always restocking!

Ok, let’s get to my picks! I’m going to share a few things throughout the next week – and today I’m starting with my absolute favorite thing to shop for during this sale – BOOTIES! In my opinion, this sale always has the best booties for fall, and every pair seems to have a stellar discount. Each pair I found below is under $100, which is amazing for some of these brands! Also, most of these come in multiple colors, so be sure to check them all out!

Stay tuned – I’ll be bringing you some of my faves in women’s, outerwear, activewear, athleisure, intimates and jammies, MORE shoes, and possible some beauty and home if time allows! Thanks for reading

Hey y’all! Been a while… but it’s officially summer, I wanted to share a few summer picks I have on my wish list! I don’t know about you, but my schedule is full of block parties, BBQs, brewery tours and a music festival, so I have plenty of events to plan outfits for!

Flowy maxi dresses and jumpsuits are my go-tos in the summer, and I’m currently obsessing over anything red like this dress (also see the dress in this post here!) and anything gingham, like this dress. These sandals can be dressed up or down and I love that they come in 4 colors! This one piece swimsuit is so chic and I especially love the price – less than $20! And what do you guys think about fanny packs coming back?? I think I’m in desperate need of this one – perfect for a music festival!

What do you guys have planned for this summer? Hope it’s a fun one! Thanks for reading! XO

Hawaiian Luau | SMYM dress

Hawaiian Luau | SMYM dress

dress | shoes, similar here (steal) and here (splurge) | earrings | purse,  also love this one | lips in cherry flip

First off, I have to welcome you all to my new and “improved” blog – I say “improved” because I’m still trying to figure it all out, so it may be a little screwy until I get used to it. Secondly, I have to apologize that my posts have been and will probably continue to be few and far between. When I was pregnant I had these visions of the first three months at home with baby looking like a lot of sleep for her and a little blogging and working out for me… aaaand cue all the mothers of the world laughing hysterically. It’s more like me trying to get some shut-eye or “me time” when I am not at the kitchen sink washing bottles and pump parts or me playing the part of a 24/7 food truck – aka breastfeeding. Right now I’m trying to write this post as fast as I can while Elle takes a morning nap that is surely not going to last as long as I’d hope. What is nice, is that the hubs, babe and I were able to take a couple weeks of vacation to spend some time with my side of the family in California and his side of the family in Hawaii – I’m not going to lie, traveling with an infant is tough, but she got to experience so many things and it was truly a joy to watch.

{Check out that side-eye! Normally I’d think that’s all me, but that look has her dad written all over it!}

I had high hopes of producing lots of blog content while we were gone, but alas, the food truck did not close for vacation and I found myself just as shower-less and makeup-less as I do at home. However there was the exception of Valentine’s night when I got dolled up for a Hawaiian luau and allowed myself more than one glass of wine – which, I might add, was much needed. When I found this dress I knew I needed it for this luau, and it made me feel every bit like the salsa dancing emoji that I had imagined. I’ve had these shoes for years, in fact I wore them the very first time I visited Hawaii 9 years ago, and it’s probably taken me that long to wear them again, but they’re the type of shoe you’re glad to always have in your closet. I bought this purse for a tropical vacation last year but we weren’t able to go, so I knew I had to bust it out for this occasion. And these earrings are one of my favorite accessories right now, and I got so many compliments!

I hope you guys like the new layout – and I’ll try to keep up with the content. Spring is right around the corner, and I’m ready to be over this cabin fever! Thanks for reading! XO
